Shellwork Trousers
The Shellwork Trousers bring together heritage, oceanic memory and meticulous handwork. Cut from richly textured handwoven Aso Oke, its sculptural wide-leg silhouette is adorned with carefully selected natural cowrie shells and glass beads, each individually sewn onto the fabric by hand.
The contrast between the matte woven textile and luminous embellishment gives the piece depth, movement and a distinct sense of ceremony.
